Cour du Fleuve High quality cottages with heated pool on the banks of the Dordogne River

Apart from the obvious activities, such as canoeing, fishing, walking cycling to name a few, there are a number of interesting and entertaining events, which we have listed below.  We have tried to be as accurate as we can, but please check with us if there is something in which you would like to participate when booking with us. There are still other events that are publicised a week or two in advance, so we are not always aware of them until a few days before.

During July and August, many of the villages have marche nocturne, at which you can purchase a local dish, and then sit and eat it, usually in the square, and with a local band providing entertainment. The repas chasse offer several hours of eating and drinking, for around 15-20 EUR per person, with a reduction for children. There are several courses, with wine provided in a very convivial atmosphere with the local people.

The more cultured activities such as dances, theatre and concerts, particularly jazz, can be found listed on the Bergerac website.

There are many other activities occurring all around the area, and they can be experienced using Cour du Fleuve as your base.
