The Farmhouse was one of the main dwellings of the farm and has many traditional features. Including beams in the bedrooms, which still have roman numerals engraved, used by the builders to assemble the wooden structure of the roof. Locals say that the roof was constructed by boat builders who were redundent after the 100 years war. They transfered their boat building skills to the construction of the roofs in the area, which are evident in both the construction and shape of the roofs. |
The Tabac and Sechoir were originally a barn which was used for drying tabaco leaves. The barn still has the traditional wooden panelling facade. When purchased, prior to its current renovation, the barn stil lhad the original beams and wires in place, which were used to dry the leaves. |
